Parma-Telecom partners with the Perm Branch of the Moscow PMI Chapter to conduct a round table discussion
On July 24, 2009, Perm Branch of the Moscow PMI Chapter conducted yet another event – a round table discussion “Project Management Office: Tribute to Fashion or Real Necessity”.Among the participants of the discussion were Perm companies and educational institutions, such as Parma-Telecom, Land Development, Perm State University, IVS, Regional Center for Continuing Education, and Smart-M.
Parma-Telecom takes an active part in such events. That is why Dmitry Dobrynin (PMP) became the main speaker and the discussion moderator. The presentation by Parma-Telecom focused on the role of Project Management Office (PMO) in Project Management and demands of PMO as an independent entity. During the Q&A session following the presentation speakers tried to find answer to the questions: is the Project Management Office worth it? What benefits (in terms of business) will the company receive? How to justify additional costs on establishment of a new business unit?
